Earning Media the Old Fashioned Way

Hershey’s represents one of the largest chocolate manufacturing brands in the word. Apart from having an original product Hershey’s also owns several other brands under its company umbrella such as Reese’s, Almond Joy, Jolly Ranchers & Twizzlers.

The Brief

GWM Malaysia aimed to increase brand awareness and strengthen its presence in the Malaysian automotive market. The objective was to highlight its vehicle features, innovation, and brand identity while attracting modern consumers and potential buyers.

In addition, the brand wanted to maximize exposure during key events and campaigns, ensuring strong visibility through engaging content, influencer reach, and high-quality video production.

The Execution

Over a period of 3-4 months, ZSTAR executed a comprehensive strategy combining social media marketing, influencer marketing, and event video production.

We managed and developed social media content across platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, focusing on vehicle highlights, lifestyle content, and brand storytelling.

At the same time, we collaborated with selected influencers to create engaging and authentic content, helping to increase reach and build trust among target audiences.

For key brand activations and events, we delivered high-quality video production, including content for advertisements, influencer features, and social media usage. These videos captured the energy and experience of the events, ensuring extended visibility beyond the physical activation.

The Result

Within the first 3 months, the campaign delivered strong performance:

  • Expanded overall reach by approximately +70%
